The Joint Master’s Degree in Sustainable and Resilient Pavement Engineering (SURPAVE) invites outstanding researchers and scholars to join its international academic network and contribute to a high-level, interdisciplinary study programme.
SURPAVE offers a unique opportunity to engage with an international consortium of leading universities, researchers, and industry partners, while shaping the education of the next generation of pavement engineers.
Selected scholars will be hosted at one of the SURPAVE Partner institutions (Antwerp, Minho, Palermo and/or Mainpal). During their stay, scholars may contribute to the programme through one or more of the following activities:
delivering lectures and seminars within SURPAVE courses
developing and enhancing course content and educational materials
supervising Master’s thesis dissertations of SURPAVE students
engaging in joint research activities and academic collaboration
contributing to initiatives aimed at strengthening the quality and visibility of the SURPAVE programme
The scope of activities is flexible and aligned with the scholar’s expertise and the needs of the programme.
The duration, remuneration, and expected contribution of each scholar are agreed upon in advance between the scholar and the SURPAVE Consortium. At the end of the visiting period, a brief report summarising the activities and outcomes will be submitted.
By joining SURPAVE as a visiting scholar, you will become part of an international academic environment dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and resilience in pavement engineering.Researchers and scholars interested in this opportunity are warmly invited to express their interest and explore potential collaboration with the SURPAVE Consortium.
